  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice-cold water until dough forms. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in cherries gently.
  3. Roll out the chilled dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick; cut into squares.
