Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g fresh paneer, crumbled
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled paneer, chopped onions, bell peppers, green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2. Make the Dough: Gradually mix water into the all-purpose flour in another bowl until you form a smooth dough. Knead for five minutes until soft. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Shape the Rolls: Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into thin circles. Place two tablespoons of filling in the center of each circle. Fold over one side and seal by pressing down on the edges.
  4. 4. Heat Oil: In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. 5. Fry the Rolls: Carefully add the rolls to the oil without overcrowding them. Fry until golden brown on all sides (about 3–4 minutes per batch).
  6. 6. Drain and Serve: Remove with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauces.
