  • 1 cup Campari
  • 1 cup sweet vermouth
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • Whole cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in diamond patterns and insert whole cloves into some scores if desired.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine Campari, sweet vermouth, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Stir until blended and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Whisk in fresh orange juice and remove from heat.

  6. Bake for approximately 1 hour, basting every 20 minutes with the remaining glaze until caramelized and heated through.
