  • 34 tbsp cold water
  • 3 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on pear sweetness)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing flour and salt in a bowl, then incorporating cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until the dough forms. Chill for at least one hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Toss sliced pears with sugar, cinnamon, and almonds in another bowl.
