- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp pumpkin spice blend
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients until just combined.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese with pumpkin puree, egg yolk, and pumpkin spice until creamy.
- Layer half the brownie batter in the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of cream cheese mixture over it then top with remaining brownie batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
