- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm apple cider with active dry yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt, and flour gradually until a sticky dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap to rise for an hour or until doubled.
- While the dough rises, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for filling.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (12×18 inches), spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long edge into a log shape and slice into even rolls (about 1 inch thick). Place in a greased baking dish.
