  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, whip the egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form (3-5 minutes).
  3. Gradually add the sugar while beating at high speed until stiff peaks form and mixture is glossy.

  6. Bake for 1 hour or until dry to the touch; let cool completely.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  8. Dip half of each cooled meringue into melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper to set.
