  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water or broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Chop cabbage, dice onion and garlic, and measure rice.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add ground meat to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice, tomato sauce, and water/broth. Mix everything evenly.
  5. Place chopped cabbage on top of the mixture. Cover and simmer for about 25-30 minutes until the cabbage is tender and rice is cooked.
