Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 pitted black olives

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a rolling boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. 2. Cool and peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel under running water.
  3. 3. Prepare filling: Halve the eggs lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a bowl. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. 4. Fill egg whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into each egg white half.
  5. 5. Create spiders: Cut olives in half; use one half for the body and slice the other into strips for legs. Assemble on top of each deviled egg.
