- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter until crumbly. Press half of this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Toss sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in another bowl. Spread this mixture evenly over the crust.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the apple layer, then sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before drizzling additional salted caramel over the top.
- Allow bars to cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
