Description

This Air Fryer French Fries Recipe is so easy to make and creates crispy french fries on the outside and tender on the inside. I like to season mine with garlic powder and paprika but you can season them with your favorite season. These are a great side for burgers, wraps or sandwiches.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized potatoes (washed, scrubbed and dried, peel and cut into into evenly sized fries, about 1/4 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F for about 5 minutes.
  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Peel and cut the potatoes into evenly sized fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the potato fries, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss well to ensure all the fries are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Carefully place a single layer of seasoned potato fries into the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking and crispy results {you might have to work in batches}.
  5. Cook the fries in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. {The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your fries and the air fryer model you are using.}
  6. Once the fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish.
  7. Serve the crispy seasoned air fryer potato fries immediately. Store the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer for 4-5 minutes.
