Description

Tender-crisp broccoli florets roasted in the air fryer and finished with a sweet, tangy balsamic reduction for a restaurant-quality side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Toss broccoli florets in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Place the seasoned broccoli in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are charred.
  4. While broccoli cooks, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Simmer the balsamic mixture for 5-7 minutes until it reduces by half and becomes a thick syrup.
  6. Transfer cooked broccoli to a serving bowl and drizzle with the warm balsamic glaze.
  7. Toss gently to coat and serve immediately.
