Description

A lean, flaky white fish fillet baked to perfection with a savory garlic butter glaze and a hint of lemon.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in a lightly greased baking dish.
  3. Season both sides of the fish with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each cod fillet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
