A hearty fusion of creamy macaroni and cheese and smoky BBQ chicken, baked to a golden crisp.
Ingredients

- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil macaroni in salted water until slightly underdone; drain.
- Melt butter in a pot, whisk in flour for 2 minutes.
- Slowly whisk in milk until thickened and smooth.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce until melted.
- Fold in cooked chicken and cooked pasta until coated.
- Pour into a greased baking dish and top with extra cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
