- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package corn tortillas
- 3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups chunky salsa
- 1 can diced green chilies
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Optional: Sour cream and avocado
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and salsa; simmer until thick.
- Spread a layer of meat at the bottom of a greased 9×13 pan.
- Layer corn tortillas over the meat.
- Add a layer of cheese and green chilies.
- Repeat meat, tortilla, and cheese layers until ingredients are gone.
- Bake at 375F for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and brown.
