Description

A luxurious, one-pot soup combining tender chicken, cheese-filled tortellini, and a velvety Alfredo sauce. Perfect for cold evenings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 10 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and stir in minced garlic, cooking for 60 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to release browned bits.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, maintaining a low simmer.
  6. Add cheese tortellini and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Garnish with parsley.
