Description

A traditional, creamy Mexican rice drink infused with aromatic cinnamon and sweetened with condensed milk for a velvety finish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Soak rice and cinnamon stick in water for at least 8 hours.
  2. Blend the soaked mixture until smooth.
  3. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  4. Stir in condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Add ground cinnamon and mix well.
  6. Chill and serve over ice.
