Description

A rich and velvety pasta dish featuring hot smoked salmon, heavy cream, and a bright touch of lemon. A gourmet seafood meal that is ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) Fettuccine or Penne pasta
  • 8 oz (225g) Hot smoked salmon, flaked
  • 1 cup (240ml) Heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • Salt for pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not brown.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Gently fold in the flaked hot smoked salmon, stirring slowly to keep the chunks intact.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss over low heat until fully coated. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
