Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow bowl.
  2. Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then dip into beaten eggs.
  3. Press each egg-dipped tender firmly into the flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil to 350F in a deep pot or skillet.
  5. Fry tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on a wire rack for 2 minutes.
  7. Whisk melted butter and hot sauce together in a bowl.
  8. Toss the hot tenders in the sauce until evenly glazed.
