- 1 lb chicken tenderloins
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow bowl.
- Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then dip into beaten eggs.
- Press each egg-dipped tender firmly into the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Heat oil to 350F in a deep pot or skillet.
- Fry tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on a wire rack for 2 minutes.
- Whisk melted butter and hot sauce together in a bowl.
- Toss the hot tenders in the sauce until evenly glazed.
