Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 brioche buns

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until meat is cooked through.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture and any pan juices into the slow cooker.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Toast buns with butter and scoop the meat mixture onto the buns to serve.
