- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the pan and sear without moving for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the thighs and cook for another 5-7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
- Spoon the melting garlic butter over the chicken for 2-3 minutes to glaze the meat.
- Stir in fresh parsley and remove from heat immediately.
