Description

A tender, slow-cooked ground beef mixture folded with melted cheddar cheese, served on toasted buns for a comforting twist on a classic burger.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 brioche buns
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Switch the slow cooker to warm and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture onto toasted buns and add desired toppings.
