Description
A flavorful one-pan meal featuring seared Cajun salmon and fluffy rice glazed with a sweet honey sauce. Perfectly balanced heat and sweetness in every bite.

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup long-grain white rice, rinsed
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning on all sides.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and dry rice for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for 15-18 minutes.
- Whisk together honey and a pinch of Cajun seasoning in a small bowl.
- Place salmon fillets back on top of the cooked rice and pour honey glaze over the fish.
- Cover and cook for another 3-5 minutes until salmon is fully cooked and glaze is sticky.
