- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink and curled into a C-shape.
- Push shrimp to the sides and add minced garlic and grated ginger to the center; sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour the honey-soy mixture into the pan and stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Toss the shrimp to coat thoroughly in the glaze and remove from heat immediately.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
