- 16 oz pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a small bowl until smooth.
- Divide the pizza dough into two equal pieces and roll each into a long rope about 1 inch thick.
- Twist the two ropes together into a spiral and shape the ends to create a tree silhouette on the pan.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough.
- Press the shredded mozzarella into the twists and crevices of the dough.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the top of the tree.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
