- 8–10 lb bone-in ham
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup apple juice
Instructions
- Pat the ham dry with paper towels to ensure the glaze adheres.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves until smooth.
- Rub the honey mixture evenly over the entire surface of the ham.
- Pour apple juice into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the ham in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours (roughly 3/4 hour per pound).
- Baste the ham with its own juices every 2 hours during the cooking process.
- Transfer the ham to a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and browned.
- Let the meat rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
