Description
Cheesy, savory orange bell peppers carved like pumpkins and topped with spooky cheese cut-outs. A perfect blend of melted mozzarella, cream cheese, and pepperoni.

- 6 small orange bell peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz block mozzarella cheese (for shapes)
- 1/2 cup finely diced pepperoni
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice orange bell peppers in half vertically and remove seeds.
- Carve triangle eyes and a jagged mouth into the front of each pepper half.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Fold in the diced pepperoni until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the filling into the carved peppers, leaving a small gap at the top.
- Slice the mozzarella block into thin rounds and cut out spooky shapes (ghosts, bats) using small cutters.
- Place one cheese shape on top of the filling in each pepper.
- Brush the outside of the peppers lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and peppers are slightly softened.
