- 1 lb ground turkey (85% to 93% lean)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Gently stir the mixture with a fork or hands until just combined; do not overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about 3/4 inch thick.
- Press a small indentation into the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
- Lightly brush the tops and bottoms of the patties with olive oil.
- Place patties in a preheated air fryer basket at 375°F (190°C) in a single layer.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, then flip the patties using a spatula.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Transfer to a plate and let the burgers rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
