- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) Active Dry Yeast
- 1 cup warm water (105-115F)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Combine warm water and honey in the slow cooker; stir in yeast and let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in salt and bread flour using a spatula until a sticky dough forms.
- Fold in softened butter until fully incorporated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set to 'Warm' for 60-90 minutes until dough doubles in size.
- Gently deflate dough and shape into 12 equal balls; place in a greased baking pan.
- Let rolls rise for another 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter immediately after baking.
