- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until the batter is emulsified.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet batter until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips by hand using a spatula.
- Scoop 1-inch balls of dough and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
