A rich, buttery, and tangy slow-cooked chicken dish inspired by the bold flavors of Mississippi. Perfect for sandwiches, bowls, or as a main entrée.

- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning
- 8–10 whole pepperoncini peppers
- 2 tablespoons pepperoncini brine
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning evenly over the top of the chicken.
- Place butter slices on top of the seasoning layer.
- Add whole pepperoncini peppers and pour the brine over the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks, then return to the pot to mix with the sauce.
