- 24 slices of hard salami
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 24 pitted green olives
- 1 tsp paprika
- 24 toothpicks
Instructions
- Slice the salami into uniform 1/4 inch rounds if not pre-sliced.
- Scoop small portions of cream cheese and shape them into small balls, then flatten them into discs slightly smaller than the salami slices.
- Lightly sprinkle a pinch of paprika on top of each cream cheese disc for a bloodshot effect.
- Press one pitted green olive firmly into the center of each cream cheese disc.
- Place the cheese-and-olive assembly on top of a salami slice.
- Push a toothpick straight down through the center of the olive, through the cheese, and into the salami to secure the snack.
