Description

A succulent fusion dish featuring slow-cooked lamb shoulder glazed in a traditional Japanese-inspired teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Sear lamb cubes in a skillet until browned.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Place lamb in slow cooker.
  4. Pour teriyaki sauce over the meat.
  5. Cook on Low for 7-8 hours.
  6. Skim fat and serve over rice.
