Description
Savory breakfast sausage and melted mozzarella cheese wrapped in buttery biscuit dough to look like tiny mummies. A whimsical and filling start to Halloween morning.

- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated flaky layers biscuits
- 12 small breakfast sausage links or patties
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 6 black olives, sliced into small pieces for eyes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuits and cut each one into 3 or 4 thin strips using a knife or shears.
- Place the sausage pieces on the baking sheet and top each with a small amount of mozzarella cheese.
- Wrap the dough strips around the sausage and cheese, leaving a small gap near the top for the eyes.
- Brush the top of the dough strips with the beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and press two olive slices into the gap for the eyes.
