- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth.
- Mix in granulated sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy.
- Whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of dough and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
