- 6 cups sourdough bread, cubed
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Spread sourdough cubes evenly in the dish.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Pour egg mixture over bread and press down with a spatula.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for 6-24 hours.
- Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes until golden and set.
