- 1.5 lbs Ground Beef
- 3 large Potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 large Carrots, sliced
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-5 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Place cubed potatoes and sliced carrots in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, spreading them evenly.
- Pour the beef mixture over the vegetables, ensuring the liquid fills the gaps.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is slightly browned and vegetables are tender.
