- 1.5 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté sliced mushrooms in butter over medium heat until golden brown.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
- Whisk together heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and flour in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Place trimmed green beans in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the mushroom and cream mixture over the beans and stir gently to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until beans are tender.
- Transfer to an oven-safe dish, top with fried onions, and broil for 3-5 minutes until crisp.
